Chronicle of the protests in Kyiv, Part 4. Attack on a Lenta.doc camerawoman

On the night of Sunday, February 23, protesters on Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) stormed Viktor Yanukovych's residence in Mezhyhirya, near Kiev. After Yanukovych fled the capital on February 22, the guards began allowing anyone inside who wished to see the conditions in which the ousted president had been living.

Footage of the Euromaidan events — mass protests in Ukraine that began on November 21, 2013, in response to the Ukrainian government's suspension of preparations for the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union. Thousands of Ukrainian citizens gathered in Independence Square. A boy dances, miming a fight. Protesters sing and dance. One of the first confrontations with security forces, who have not yet used riot gear. Protesters discuss their plan of action right on the street.

Footage of the Euromaidan events. Protesters occupy the Ukrainian House on European Square. The protesters, including a priest, try to persuade the security forces inside the building to leave. They eventually do, though perhaps not because of these appeals. The protesters take over and explore the building; a young man in a balaclava plays the piano.
